An Attitude Survey on Self-Glucose Management. Of Diabetic Patients(In One University Hospital)


Abstract
Diabetic patients must manage continuous blood glucose. Health-managers must act as stimulator for diabetic patients.
1. The subjects of this study were 89 adolescents(male 38, female 51). There were 26 (29 %) family history of diabetic mellitus.
2. 55 diabetic patients got exercise. 27 of 55 diabetic patients exercised before meal. 18 of 55 diabetic patients exercised over on hour.
3. 27 diabetic patients tested urine sugar by urine stick and 17 diabetic patients tested blood glucose by self-glucose monitor.
4. 26 diabetic patients experienced hypoglycemic symptom.
Conclusion :
I recommend that patients evaluate self monitor of blood glucose and urine sugar, exercise time and duration and then utilize the data for their diabetic management. Diabetic patients can be enjoy their life by this method.
